Neurodiversity & Assistive Technology Adjustments

About the Event

Assistive technology is commonly used across the workplace, particularly to support neurodivergent individuals to work more efficiently and with ease.

There are many different types of assistive technologies available today, some that are available to purchase, and some that are free and accessible within most systems that you may use day-to-day at work.

These types of assistive technologies are usually there to support individuals with challenges such as:

  • Reading and focusing on lines of written text

  • Getting thoughts down into a written format

  • Organisation and planning

Regardless of what technology is used, having it accessible to your employees can help them to minimise the challenges they may experience, and also ensure that they are able to work more effectively.

In this session, we will discuss:

  • What is assistive technology, the types of assistive technology available, and the value it can bring to individuals at work

  • Guidance on how to utilise some of the assistive technologies, with live demonstrations from one of Lexxic's assistive technology Experts and coaches

  • Panel discussion on the benefit of assistive technology to neurodivergent individuals

  • Available support that Lexxic can provide

There will be some time available for audience Q&A
