The Neurodiversity Index Report in partnership with City and Guilds Foundation is now live!
Now in its fourth year, this report provides the clearest picture yet of how neurodivergent people experience work, and shows a widening gap between what organisations believe they're delivering vs. what people are actually experiencing day-to-day.
What the report reveals
The 2026 report highlights several key findings:
- A significant and growing gap between employer perceptions of inclusion and the lived experiences of neurodivergent employees
- Persistent barriers in recruitment, onboarding, and reasonable adjustments
- Growing awareness of neurodiversity at a surface level, without corresponding changes in practice
- The importance of moving from awareness to action
Why this matters
Year on year, the data consistently shows that neurodivergent employees face avoidable barriers in the workplace. This report gives us the evidence base to make the case for meaningful change.
