The accreditation for organisations serious about neuroinclusion.
Neurodiversity Smart™ (ND Smart) is Lexxic's accreditation framework, designed for organisations committed to building neuroinclusion that is structural, consistent and sustained, not just declared. It goes beyond policy. It assesses what actually happens for neurodivergent employees across the full employment journey, from the first job advert to the day-to-day working environment.
ND Smart is not a tick-box exercise. It is a structured, evidence-based assessment delivered by Lexxic's specialist psychologists, the same expertise that underpins our training, assessments and coaching.
Our specialist psychologists will systematically assess where your organisation's strengths sit, identify specific opportunities where neuroinclusion can be developed further and highlight potential areas of risk that may be sitting within your existing practices.

ND Smart assesses neuroinclusion across three core domains, designed to reflect the full journey an employee takes through your organisation, from first contact to day-to-day working life.
We assess whether recruitment processes, job descriptions, interviews and onboarding are accessible, structured and designed to reduce avoidable barriers for neurodivergent candidates.
We assess management approaches, communication practices, performance frameworks, career development pathways and senior leadership accountability for neuroinclusion.
We assess digital and/or physical environments, reasonable adjustments, flexible working, psychological safety and the operational policies that shape how neurodivergent colleagues experience work.
Whatever stage you are at now, ND Smart will help you understand your current level of neuroinclusive practice and what is needed to progress further. If your organisation wishes to achieve a higher level, we will provide clear, practical guidance on the steps required to move to the next stage.
The foundations are in place
Your organisation has started to put the core building blocks for neuroinclusion in place. There may be examples of good practice, but these are likely to be developing, emerging or not yet applied consistently across teams, processes or employee touchpoints.
A consistent approach across the organisation
Your organisation has established a more consistent and joined-up approach to neuroinclusion. Inclusive practices are increasingly embedded across key processes, with clearer ownership, stronger awareness and more reliable support for neurodivergent colleagues across the organisation.
Neuroinclusion is well embedded in day-to-day practice
Your organisation demonstrates a mature and proactive approach to neuroinclusion. Inclusive practice is embedded into everyday ways of working, leaders and managers take clear accountability, and neurodivergent colleagues are supported to apply their strengths and access opportunities consistently.
Accreditation is valid for 12 months, with the option to re-accredit and continue building on your progress.
See all levels and outcomes in detailND Smart is delivered through a structured, four-stage process, from an initial kick-off conversation through to a final report and accreditation outcome. Evidence-based and reviewed by our team of psychologists, the process is designed to be clear, achievable and fully supported, with consistent guidance from your dedicated psychologist throughout.
We start with a focused kick-off led by a specialist psychologist. Together we align on your objectives, walk through the framework, and set you up with clear guidance so you know exactly what good looks like from the outset.
Your team completes a guided self-assessment across the three domains, supported by clear criteria and examples. Behind the scenes, we're already shaping how we'll interrogate, validate and build on this evidence to ensure a robust, meaningful outcome.
Our psychologists independently review your submission in detail—identifying strengths, gaps, and areas of risk. We then meet with you to explore the evidence, challenge assumptions where needed, and build a fuller picture of what's really happening in practice.
We bring everything together into a clear, prioritised outcome. You'll receive a structured report and readout session, highlighting what's working well, where to focus next, and how to move forward with confidence.
Around 12 weeks after accreditation, we check in to see how things are progressing and discuss whether ongoing support would be helpful in turning insight into sustained action.
Re-accreditation typically takes place 12 to 18 months later, using a self-assessment led process.
By achieving ND Smart, we will support you to also become eligible for Disability Confident status, through a single, aligned assessment with minimal additional evidence required.
Each organisation completes a self-assessment survey and uploads evidence against criteria across the three domains. Our psychologists review submissions independently, meet with the client to validate and discuss findings, and produce a written report covering good practice, development areas and prioritised recommendations.

A note on our accreditation framework: ND Smart accreditation is awarded by Lexxic following assessment against our own evidence-based framework, developed by our specialist psychology team. It is an internal benchmark of neuroinclusive practice, assessed across three domains by our qualified psychologists.
