Simple, recognisable levels that show genuine progress.
ND Smart deliberately uses three clear levels rather than complex scoring or jargon. The aim is a benchmark that is easy to understand internally, and easy to communicate externally to your board, your people, and your clients.
← Back to ND Smart OverviewEntry level
Emerging evidence of neuroinclusive practice across the three domains. This level reflects early progress and growing awareness, with clear opportunities to build further consistency and depth.
Mid level
Evidence shows the ND Smart criteria are met consistently across all three domains. This level reflects a clear, purposeful commitment to neuroinclusive practice, backed by tangible action.
Highest level
Strong, consistent evidence of neuroinclusive practice across all three domains. Neuroinclusion is well established and embedded in day-to-day practice and organisational culture.
Accreditation is valid for 12 months. Re-accreditation uses a streamlined, self-assessment led process, recognising that you are building on an existing foundation rather than starting from scratch.
Not every organisation is ready for full accreditation straight away, and that is completely fine. You can choose to audit a single domain first, using the same rigorous criteria, and return within 12 months to complete the remaining areas for full accreditation.
